Symptoms Arising from Tension & Inability to Relax

MSK Physiotherapy is aimed at treating disorders of the muscular and skeletal system. Typical examples include neck and back pain, soft tissue injuries, joint pain and post orthopaedic rehabilitation.

Sports Physiotherapy

Sports injuries occur through repetitive strain associated with high training volume or direct physical contact.  Simply put, sports can be hard on the body!

Soft Tissue Therapy

Soft tissue therapies can vary from light touch to deep / sports massage.

Online Video Appointments

If you can't make it into the clinic during the Covid-19 pandemic or for other reasons we offer telehealth appointments with our therapists.

Pilates is a form of mind-body exercise that incorporates strength, mobility and stretching. It focusses on a central core of stability in the lumbopelvic region.

Medical Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves using thin needles inserted into muscle and fascia trigger points. This is great at relieving muscle tension, reducing muscular pain receptors and stimulating cortisol release (a powerful anti-inflammatory).
Hyaluronic Acid Injections

Hyaluronic acid has been used in medicine for over 10 years to help relieve pain and reduce the progression of osteoarthritis.

Diagnostic Ultrasound Scans

Ultrasound imaging, as used in pregnancy scans, is a brilliant way to assess the condition of muscles, tendons and joints. The advantage of ultrasound is that it is very safe (no radiation), quick and accurate at diagnosing many injuries.
PRP Injections

PRP treatment involves the ultrasound-guided injection of platelets directly into the site of injury, to trigger the body’s healing mechanisms.

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy uses high-powered sound waves to trick cells into learning to repair themselves. Shockwaves have been shown to stimulate bone and tendon healing, reduce inflammation and desensitise nerves.

Corticosteroid injections are used to treat chronic inflammation within a joint or around a tendon. They are excellent for relieving tendonitis, bursitis, arthritis, frozen shoulders and calcific tendonitis. Also known as steroid or cortisone injections.

Ultrasound-Guided Injection Therapy

Please note that ALL of our injections are Ultrasound guided. Research has shown significantly better outcomes when using guided versus unguided injections simply because you can be sure to target the specific injury.
